YSW’s 5 fave wedding dresses from the new Anna Georgina Bridal collection
The latest collection from Anna Georgina bridal reflects its South African designer Kobus Dippenaar’s state of mind.
“[It’s] full of optimism, joy and gratitude,” he says.
“Embracing the opening up of the world. Life is so precious, it should be celebrated to the fullest!
“Sea, holidays and elopement weddings came to mind.
“This sentiment brings me back to why I got into bridal – the hope, promise, love and traditions that life is all about.”
With that in mind Kobus decided to keep the latest Wild-Spirit collection clean and easy and devoid of fuss.
While some of the skirts are full they remain unadorned, allowing the movement of the fabric to speak for itself.
Check out five of our faves here…
‘Annette’

We love the juxtaposition of the sleek and light skirt against the detailed appliqué, fitted lace sleeves and low v-neck for a sensual bridal look.
‘Bellise’

Our absolute favourite of the collection so we had to give you two pics so you can appreciate it for yourself! Check out the movement in the layers of skirt – made for dancing! But our most-loved element has to be the square neckline, giving a fresh take on a classic.
‘Kim’

Boho brides, this one’s for you. Kim is super-minimalistic in cut but the detailing in the fabric gives it a real sense of romance.
‘Sion’

It’s all about the cut in this one. Check out the elegant figure-hugging sheath and the sheer modesty panel keeping it so classy.
‘Whisper’

For something different to the classic white or ivory bridal gown we love the nude undertone here. And check out those spaghetti straps. Perfect for a wedding on the beach or an elopement.
