Your Scottish Wedding is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chains. We acknowledge our responsibility under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms.

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

  • All employees, directors, and officers of Your Scottish Wedding

  • All contractors, freelancers, partners, and suppliers who work with or on behalf of the company

Our Business and Supply Chains

While we consider our risk to be relatively low due to the nature of our business, we remain vigilant and proactive in ensuring our partners uphold the same ethical standards.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

To identify and mitigate modern slavery and human trafficking risks, we:

  • Conduct risk assessments on new suppliers and partners

  • Engage only with reputable suppliers who commit to ethical labour practices

  • Include clauses in supplier agreements requiring compliance with the Modern Slavery Act

  • Reserve the right to terminate contracts with suppliers who fail to meet these standards

Training and Awareness

We raise awareness among our staff and freelancers by:

  • Including information on modern slavery and human trafficking in induction materials

  • Circulating periodic updates and training when appropriate

  • Ensuring staff understand how to identify and report concerns
