We are a small reputable independent jewellers situated in Glenrothes in Eastfield Business Park (KY7 4NS) that offers not just branded jewellery but a unique blend of expertise, artistry and customer service that transforms the experience of acquiring jewellery into something truly special.
As a multi award jewellers, we possess a deep understanding of gemstones, metals and design along with excellent craftsmanship. We also have a warm friendly calm environment for customers making them feel relaxed and comfortable exploring their options and feeling confident in making any decisions, especially when it comes to them deciding on a more bespoke and personal piece to them.
As Jewellers we find it extremely important to be as patient and attentive as possible to make sure we are answering customers questions and needs as informative as possible and also most importantly building a trust with them.
The services we offer to customers are Bespoke designs whether it be a new ring design or a re model using their on pieces of jewellery. We also offer a repair service which includes ring re sizing, rhodium plating, soldering, engraving and many more. We also have a watch service which includes. Watch batteries, servicing and watch cleaning and maintenance. We do link adjustments in store too. Other services includes jewellery and watch valuations for insurance purposes and have an ear piercing service.
The brands we offer are Linda Macdonald and Ortak which is our Scottish brands. We also have Laura Ashley, Sif Jakobs, Diamonfire, Ania Haie, Little star, which is our children’s range and Steel Barnett and Fred Bennett which is our gents range. We also have our own Fennes Jewellery fine gold and precious gemstones range and our Silver range too which is very popular as there are styles to suit everyone. We have our own separate wedding room which has a lovely wide selection of wedding bands and engagements rings. These are our samples to show customers and each ring is made to order in any metal and adjustments you require and takes up to 4-6 weeks. Booking is recommended from Thursday to Saturday 10am-4pm. How do I clean my silver jewellery?
we would recommend using our Connoisseurs’ products we have available. Our wipes are the best for getting rid of any black tarnishing from sulphur compounds in the air. They help clean and put the shine back into the jewellery again and they also work on gold jewellery too. We also have silver or gold dips that can be used for more harsh stains on the jewellery. We would also happily do complimentary cleaning for customers in store too.
Is my ring real gold?
we would check the inside of the ring for any hallmarks we can also send them to get tested with an laser reaction check which indicates whether its real or just a plating.
Can I re-size my ring?
we have a jewellery repair service in which does re sizing and many more repairs. We would measure their finger and the ring and check for any wear and tear that might affect getting it sized. Then we would take it to our local trusted workshop to be repaired. The cost of this starts at £40.00 depending on the metal.
Do you do bespoke Jewellery?
we certainly do. Our in house designer Jo can design any piece of jewellery you wish. We can also use your own precious metals and turn it into something that’s more suited and personal to you. We would advise making an appointment Thursday to Saturday so Jo can sit down and get as much detail as possible so she can draw up a few ideas for you that you will love!
Do you have a website that we can browse through?
yes our website details are www.fennesjewellery.com where you can access all of our jewellery we have in store and purchase if you wish. Our wide selection wedding bands and engagement rings are also on there to browse through and to get prices for all metals and styles.
Can I order an item that has been sold or not in stock in store?
yes, we can certainly do that for you. We have catalogues of all our suppliers and can order most things on there. We also have a wide variety of fine gold jewellery that we don’t have in stock that we can get for you too. Nothing is too big or too small for us!
Do you deliver?
Yes, we can post any items you wish out to you if you make a purchase on our website, If you stay local to Glenrothes and need something quite quick but cant get out for any reason we can personally deliver goods to you.
What is the best jewellery to wear for people with allergies to certain metals?
We have a wide titanium range which is perfect for people with sensitive skin. Titanium is hypoallergenic so it’s highly unlikely to react with someone with metal allergies.
Can you do Valuations?
Yes, we can do valuations for insurance purposes. Your items will go to our registered valuer to be done. There is a fee for this to be done so if you wish to discuss further we can give you a price for the pieces you would like valued. Once done you will receive a pack with all the information regarding your items and two copies of the valuation so you can have one and also your insurance has a copy.
Do you do engraving?
Yes, we can do all styles of engraving. Whether it be hand engraved or laser engraved.
Do you do watch repairs?
Yes, we have a local watchmaker that does servicing, battery replacements and adjustments. We also have a watch link adjustment service in store at no cost.
