Infinityblu Dental Care & Implant Clinic - Killin

About this business

Clinical director, and owner Chris Barrowman’s vision of Infinityblu, has developed into a well-respected and known dental brand and group of dental practices in Scotland.

Award winning independent dental practice, Infinityblu Dental Care & Implant Clinic, which started in 2007 as a squat in Pitlochry, has now grown over the past 17 years to a multi practice dental group. With clinics across Scotland, 3 of which have been opened as squat practices, Infinityblu now has 12 practices across Perthshire, Stirlingshire, Scottish Borders & Fife.

“Infinityblu is the essence of my belief in how dentistry should be practiced. I want all our patients to be able to access the latest procedures and the highest quality of dental care provided with a customer-focused approach”, Chris Barrowman.

“Our people are our most valuable asset. Our teams at our Infinityblu practices are fantastic, and we wouldn’t be as successful and popular as we are without them. They’re such caring, talented and customer service focused individuals, and their attention to detail for our patients’ needs is amazing.

“Their passion and dedication for Infinityblu is infectious. Every day this team come into work, they care for each other, they care for the patients, they ooze passion for Infinityblu, and work like a tight knit family. That’s what makes us Infinityblu.”

Stained teeth are very common! Straining is caused by tea, coffee, red wine and smoking anything that would leave a stain on a white t-shirt can leave a stain on your teeth.

Most people experience some discoloration caused by tea, coffee, wine, tobacco, and other pigmented foods.

The simplest, most cost effective and least destructive treatment is a course of at-home tooth whitening.

The most common side effect of teeth whitening is sensitivity.

No.

Sensitivity does vary from patient to patient, however there are a few ways you can minimise sensitivity from occurring.

Switch to a sensitive toothpaste at least a week before beginning whitening treatment. -sensitive toothpaste can also be used topically.

The results will vary from person to person and so will the treatment length. Generally, 3-6 months depending on your oral health, diet and lifestyle.

There is no evidence to say that it is safe, nor evidence to say it is not.

Whitening products can be bought online. However, it is not safe to do so.

These kits can contain a dangerous level of bleaching chemical which is not safe for your teeth or gums.

Whitening must only be carried out by a registered dental care professional.

Whitening toothpaste is more abrasive than regular toothpaste therefore not recommended for long term use.

Our price reflects the high standards of our treatment and patient care.

We have an experienced team who are dedicated to ensuring the very best results and patient experience.

Yes.

We can either refer you to be sedated or arrange sedation with our oral surgeon alongside your own dentist.

This can be performed for any dental treatments. A calming drug (usually midazolam) is given intravenously via your arm or hand.

This will ease your anxiety and ensure you do not feel any pain. You will be awake during this but are likely to not remember anything afterwards.

Local anaesthetic will be used for most treatments making it virtually pain free.

A numbing gel can be applied to your gums prior to the local anaesthetic.

This alongside our virtually pain free technique will ensure a comfortable numbing process.

Treatment will begin only when you are numb and comfortable.

Symptoms can include sores that don’t heal, lumps, or persistent pain in the mouth.

Regular dental check-ups often include screenings for early detection.

Tooth sensitivity can result from enamel erosion, gum recession, or cavities. Using desensitizing toothpaste and avoiding acidic foods can help alleviate discomfort.

Regular dental visits are essential for maintaining oral health. Most dentists recommend a check-up every six months, but this can vary based on individual needs.

Effective oral hygiene includes brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, flossing daily, limiting sugary snacks, and avoiding tobacco products.

Children should see a dentist by their first birthday or within six months after their first tooth appears. Early visits help in monitoring development and establishing good oral habits.

Maintaining good oral hygiene, reducing sugar intake, and regular dental check-ups are key preventive measures.

Yes, fluoride strengthens tooth enamel and helps prevent decay. Using fluoride-containing toothpaste and drinking fluoridated water can be beneficial.

Flossing removes plaque and food particles between teeth, areas a toothbrush can’t reach.

Proper technique involves gently sliding the floss between teeth and along the gumline.

Common solutions include dental implants, bridges, and dentures. The best option depends on various factors, including the number of missing teeth and overall oral health.
