We take our bride on a journey from picking her gown, through the fitting and alteration service and then onto the preparation of her gown for collection on the week of her wedding. The Opus Experience is part of her wedding preparation and we make sure it is stress free and filled with joy.

For owners Sharon and Stewart, and the team they’ve built since Opus opened in 2003, it starts and ends with customer service. It’s about working with you to make sure that when you walk down the aisle you’re wearing a gown that looks spectacular and you feel confident wearing.

Sharon McPherson established Opus Couture, based in the lovely village of West Kilbride, in 2003. Sharon has 30 years experience in the Bridal-wear industry and Opus Couture has quickly grown into one of Scotland’s leading names in Bridal Fashion.

Our success has been achieved through quality of service, experience and in-house expertise, which has been recognised by winning the VOWS Industry Award in 2016 and in 2006 and 2010 as Best Bridal Retailer in Scotland, with nominations every year since 2005! Sharon along with the majority of our staff have qualifications in fashion design and pattern cutting enabling us to give expert advice to all our brides, helping them to find the perfect gown.
