How much time should I allow for purchasing wedding rings and jewellery?

We recommend visiting us around three to six months before your wedding date. This allows plenty of time to explore our collections, discuss any customisations and ensure your rings are ready well in advance of your special day. Every piece of Sheila Fleet Jewellery is designed by Sheila Fleet OBE and handcrafted in our workshop in Orkney, Scotland. Our skilled team carry out every stage of the process, from casting and assembling to hand-finishing, stone setting, enamelling and polishing. By keeping our production in Orkney, we maintain exceptional craftsmanship while staying true to the landscapes and heritage that inspire every design.

How do I care for my jewellery?

To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend cleaning it regularly with a soft polishing cloth and storing it separately when not being worn. Remove jewellery before swimming, gardening, heavy lifting or using household cleaning products, and avoid applying perfume or cosmetics directly onto your jewellery. We also recommend having your engagement ring professionally checked and cleaned periodically to ensure gemstones remain secure.
