Independent Humanist Ceremonies have been providing Humanist Services across Scotland since 2009. There for you at life’s most important events. IHC represent over 30 of Scotland’s best Celebrants, with more wedding award nominations and wins than any other organisation. We are uniquely different from other Humanist organisations as we provide greater flexibility in content. We aim to deliver unique ceremonies, the heart of which is your wishes.

The Fantastic Aileen Massie
My wife and I contacted Aileen when looking for a celebrant to conduct our wedding ceremony. We met Aileen for a coffee and knew instantly that that we wanted to book her as our celebrant. Aileen’s communication from the first contact was fantastic, she guided us through the process of preparing the ceremony and spent considerable time getting to know us in order to create a very personal service. We knew we were in good hands.
We got married yesterday, and I cannot state enough how fantastic Aileen was. Every guest at the wedding took time to tell us how wonderful they thought the ceremony was, and what a fantastic job Aileen did in creating a ceremony that will live long in the memory of everyone who attended. We can’t thank Aileen enough for her work on our behalf. If you’re looking to arrange a celebrant for your wedding, then look no further. Thank you Aileen!
