It’s that time of year again!
As we start the final countdown to Christmas we’ve teamed up with some amazing elves from the Scottish wedding industry, who are digging deep to offer some fabulous festive prizes to 12 lucky winners.
In the YSW 12 Days of Christmas there won’t be a pear tree, geese a-laying or drummers-drumming in sight but do keep your eyes peeled for extra special prizes from the likes of Fairmont St Andrews, Kilts 4U, The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa, Stephanie Gallen Millinery, Pamper & Polish, DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central and Freja Designer Dressmaking.

To get you in the Christmas mood keep an eye on our social media as we reveal each new prize between 1st and 12th December.
How it works
It’s super simple to enter.
We’ll announce a different prize every day both here and on our Facebook and Instagram until 12th December, courtesy of a different wedding supplier.
To enter, all you have to do is like both that supplier’s account and the YSW one and share the post.
Each day’s competition will run for a week, closing at midnight on the seventh day.
So, for example, day one’s prize will be open to entries until midnight on the 7th December.
Then on the 8th day we will draw the winner at random and get in touch with them on social media.
It couldn’t be easier!

Day one…
We’re kicking things off with a fabulous voucher to get you wedding-ready in the new year, courtesy of Stephanie Gallen Millinery.
Stephanie studied millinery at Glasgow Metropolitan College and set up her successful business in 2012, selling headpieces at vintage markets.
Since then, Stephanie Gallen Millinery has gone from strength to strength, as requests for bespoke hats and fascinators grew and she now works from her home studio in Lenzie, creating gorgeous creations suitable for brides, MOBs, wedding guests and every other kind of hat lover.
And kicking off our fabulous 12 Days of Christmas giveaway Stephanie is offering one lucky winner a £200 voucher that can be used towards any of her services for bespoke, rental or bridal hats and headpieces.
The voucher is valid for 12 months and the winner must redeem it before 25th December 2024.
Day two…
Our second winner will be in for an indulgent treat, courtesy of The Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa.
Who doesn’t love afternoon tea, especially when it’s a Champagne afternoon tea, accompanied by three of your nearest and dearest in one of the most beautiful hotels in Scotland?
The winner of this special prize will enjoy a Champagne afternoon tea for four, worth £218 before the 31st June 2024.
Afternoon tea is served in The Old Course Hotel’s Road Hole Restaurant on Saturdays and Sundays between 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
Day three…
Fancy having your wedding dress or mother of the bride or groom outfit made bespoke? Well this prize will help you on your way, courtesy of Freja Designer Dressmaking.
Mette Baillie is the award-winning designer behind Edinburgh-based Freja Designer Dressmaking – she scooped the Bridal Designer prize at this year’s Your Scottish Wedding Awards don’t ya know!
The talented Mette is offering the winner of this prize 10% off a bridal and/or mum’s outfit, to be designed to your exact wishes!
The winner must book in with Freja Designer Dressmaking by the end of January 2024 to claim the prize.

Day four…
Have you found The One yet? No, we’re not talking about your other half, but your wedding dress of course!
If not, you’re going to love today’s prize, courtesy of Gwenne!
The renowned Edinburgh and Broxburn-based wedding boutiques are brimming with gorgeous gowns from a range of designers, whatever style you’re looking for.
Let Gwenne and her team help you find your dream dress, and the task’s that little bit easier with this prize.
Gwenne is offering one lucky winner a £250 voucher towards the purchase of any new dress from either boutique.

Day five…
We say it all the time, amazing wedding make-up starts with glowing skin and today’s prize will help you on your way to achieving it, courtesy of The Skin Glow Coach from Pamper & Polish.
Hair and make-up stylist Lesley McCormick of Pamper & Polish has developed the Skin Glow Coach, specialising in holistic facials for skin health and promoting a ‘less is more’ approach to using skincare products and invasive treatments. She promotes face massage and other techniques including facial gua sha, facial reflexology and face yoga to enhance your skin.
What’s more, Skin Glow Coach also encapsulates an online course to help brides-to-be improve their skin in the lead up to the wedding day, run as a series of face massage guided videos.

Day six…

Day seven…
Fancy a real showstopper for your wedding breakfast or dessert table? Today’s prize, courtesy of Mademoiselle Macaron, will be the perfect addition.
The Edinburgh-based company provide these luxurious French delicacies far and wide and even supplied the Barbie movie! What better accolade to recommend them for your wedding?! Plus take our word for it, they’re delicious!
Today’s lucky winner will receive an eight-tier macaron tower, comprised of 140 individual macarons in classic flavours – raspberry, lemon, vanilla, pistachio, chocolate and salted caramel, worth £200.
All the macarons are gluten free but do contain dairy, eggs and nuts.
The tower can be shipped out within the UK and NI, via DPD. The macarons are shipped in trays for safe transit and the tower is supplied flat pack.

Day nine…
Question, how does an overnight stay in the heart of Glasgow sound for a wee treat to look forward to in the new year?

Day ten…
Virgin Hotels Edinburgh was the location for our bridal and groomswear photoshoot for the upcoming January issue of Your Scottish Wedding and we are in love with this super-chic hotel in the heart of the capital’s Old Town.
So, we’re so excited (and very jealous!) today’s prize will see one lucky winner enjoying an overnight stay here.
Today’s winner will enjoy an overnight dinner bed and breakfast stay for two in one of the Chamber Kinds with dinner in Commons Club Restaurant, worth approximately £500.
