Take inspiration from these beautiful blooms, jaw-dropping cakes and stunning stationery from our shoot at Cluny Castle, Sauchen.

You’ll find this stunning styled photoshoot in the pages of the January 24 issue of Your Scottish Wedding and call us biased, but it was an instant fave.

It’s also the shoot that nearly didn’t happen, thanks to Storm Babet making an appearance the day after.

But we got there with our amazing team of talented wedding suppliers, who pulled off three awesome looks in different spaces of the castle which we’re sharing on the website now.

In our first installment it was all about pops of colour but for part two we’re stripping it back for a subtle look with all things white and beautiful.

Five-tier elegant ‘Grace’ cake adorned with sugar roses and lisianthus (POA), Philippa Rose Cake Design

All shades of white

Helen Hardman of The Greenshed Flower Studio took the “white, white and more white” brief very seriously using a mixture of dried and fresh florals including honesty and teasels with gypsophila, rose, snapdragon, stock and lisianthus.

She fixed a stunning arrangement to one side of All Wrapped Up Events Scotland’s on-trend peacock chair.

Just imagine posing for your couple’s photos with it!

However, we love how well it complements Philippa Rose Cake Design’s showstopping five-tier elegant ‘Grace’ cake adorned with sugar roses and lisianthus.

The sugar blooms (pictured in detail below) are so realistic it’s impossible to tell the difference between them and Helen’s fresh florals!

Helen chose striking gold-edged charger plates and black candlesticks with crisp white linens from All Wrapped Up’s portfolio for her chic tablescape, set beneath the gorgeous suspended installation which employed the use of structural blooms, twigs and dried elements.

Polar Luxe table plan (top left), Swan Lake collection pace card (top right), Swan Lake collection menu (middle left), Polar Luxe frosted invitation (middle right), Polar Luxe place setting (bottom left) and Gyp collection frosted acrylic invitation (bottom right) (all POA), Starca Designs

Starca Design‘s stationery worked perfectly in this set-up with a choice of the ‘Polar Luxe’ collection, printed on frosted acrylic with white fonts, the ‘Gyp Collection’ frosted acrylic invitations and the elegant ‘Swan Lake’ collection, adorned with a feather trim and wax seals.

And we love the ‘Polar Luxe’ place settings with individually laser etched names.

These would make a gorgeous keepsake for your guests.

Elegant and modern all-white wedding cake (POA), The Kilted Cake Company

From one statement cake to another, The Kilted Cake Company’s offering is a beautiful example of a modern wedding cake design.

This clean, sharp all-white cake features a mix of different cake shapes and heights while draped detailing and pearls give a contemporary look.
