You’ll find this stunning styled photoshoot in the pages of the January 24 issue of Your Scottish Wedding and call us biased, but it was an instant fave.
It’s also the shoot that nearly didn’t happen, thanks to Storm Babet making an appearance the day after.
But we got there with our amazing team of talented wedding suppliers, who pulled off three awesome looks in different spaces of the castle which we’re sharing on the website now.
In our first installment it was all about pops of colour before in part two we stripping it back for a subtle look with all things white and beautiful.
In this final part it we moved on to terracotta tones with rich gold and deep colours in dried flowers really complementing both our set-ups in the Tenants’ Hall and the castle’s private chapel.

Terracotta tones
Our shoot took place in October and the burnt orange leaves outside at Cluny and the light and mood in the Tenants’ Hall and private chapel were perfectly echoed in this final theme.
Moss & Blossom Floral Studio teamed up with All Wrapped Up Events Scotland and Crumbdidilyumptious to create this effective sweetheart table set-up, complemented by the eye-catching ‘Autumn Archways’ menu from Starca Designs.
Back inside, décor specialists 22Extra combined a dusky pink tablecloth and burgundy napkins with high end gilt-detailed charger plates, gold cutlery and gold-rimmed glassware.
The pièce de résistance however had to be the chandeliers suspended over the table.
“I have a little bit of an obsession with chandeliers,” ‘Tutu from the company laughs.
“Fortunately, they’re in vogue and work really nicely gracing tables.”
Carla of Moss & Blossom says, “With their earthy and natural flair, these one-of-a-kind terracotta arrangements add a touch of cosy elegance to your special
day.
“The uniqueness of burnt orange orchids, cream roses and dried grasses add a personal note to each piece.”
Roni Hyslop of All Wrapped Up adds, “I love how just the simple addition of a rattan mat or coloured napkin can help bring a theme alive!”
Crumbdidilyumptious’ sweet two-tier cake used textured terracotta icing with abstract gold leaf and an eye-catching floral arrangement.
Helen of The Greenshed Flower Studio used dried hydrangea, rushes, eucalyptus, strawflower, teasels and more in her striking design.
“I felt like my terracotta was definitely the darker, moodier sister to Carla’s!” she says.
The Kilted Cake Company’s autumn cake completed the look.
“Orange and gold tones make a beautiful pairing when it comes to autumnal cake designs,” says Alison.
“The addition of abstract stenciling, gold leaf, silk ribbon and dried flowers showcase a classic and bold statement look.”
